Brighton Jewelry and Accessories
It was 7 years ago when I fell in love with Brighton products, from the moment I first walked into this small boutique in a shopping center in sunny Southern California. I felt like every little thing in the store was made with so much love and care. That hand-crafted look, casual yet elegant design and impressive quality made me feel like I suddenly was sent back in time to some fine craftsman jewelers, surrounded with amazing hand-worked leather belts, shoes, silver bracelets, charms, rings, watches, necklaces, you name it.
Most of their jewelry has at least one little heart charm with the letter “B”, which in my mind translates into a message: ”Made with our hearts to Brighton yours!” :) Although the Brighton brand is only 10 years old, most of you fashion lovers already know Brighton’s heart logo. Brighton products are sold through a network of family-owned specialty stores nationwide and Brighton Collectibles stores. Brighton products are not sold in department stores or over the Internet. The exception would be only three authorized online retailers:
Zappos.com
ExposuresOnline.com
Cutterbuck.com
So, if you decide to make a purchase online make sure you are buying from an authorized retailer who can provide a warranty. Brighton products are based out of City of Industry, CA, but there are some components for some of the products manufactured internationally in countries such as France, Italy, Spain, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.
Brighton was launched in 1991 with a single collection of Brighton belts, but over the years has become an accessory company with something for everyone. In 1993, items added to the Brighton line were small leather goods, watches, jewelry, home accessories, eyewear, and handbags. To the traditional line of Brighton belts were added:
“Casual and dress belts - sold under the Leegin label.
Contemporary and fashion forward - sold under the Onyx and Billy Belts labels.
Honest, the basic all-American belt featuring rich heavy cowhides.
Western belts and hatbands - sold under the Silver Creek, Justin, and Tony Lama labels.
A myriad of special belts - sold to other belt companies and to private label retailers (sold under the retailer's own label name) such as: Lands' End, L. L. Bean, Eddie Bauer, J. Crew and many more. Unique styles fashioned of materials collected from the farthest reaches of the globe under the One World label.”
These are some of the belts that I own. Three among those five belts will be sent as a winning prizes for my first contest in "Odessa" group on Polyvore.
